2015 NW 29th A lovely 4 bedroom 2 bath house with hardwood floors and elegant 50s architectural detail. It is on the same block as our Macleay Gardens apartments.
The large just remodeld master bedroom and bath are downstairs. It includes a fireplace and walkin closet. The adjacent bathroom was not remodeled and is large but very basic.
On the main floor are two more bedrooms, a small full bathroom with tub and shower, a large bright livingroom with fireplace, a full dining room, and a bright kitchen with exit to the backyard, which is perfect for barbecues and outdoor living in the summer. The attic bedroom is the only upstairs room.
NW 29th is right next to one of the entrances to Forest Park. There is a beautiful trail through the woods along a creek. It is a couple of blocks from NW Thurman which has a great organic cafe, restaurants and a gallery. A few more blocks down Thurman is the Food Front grocery store and deli. NW 29th is about a 15 minute walk from the great shopping and restaurants on NW 23rd. It is also really convenient for commuters - near bus lines and easy access to the I-5 and I-405 ramps.
